Anastrozole and Arimidex are same. Arimidex is a common brand name of Anastrozole. Anastrozole is a better alternative to Tamoxifen and side effects are lesser when compared Tamoxifen. However, the drug has to be taken only after consulting with your treating doctor. Anastrozole doesn't cause coughing or sore throat.
