General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Taking Regesterone regularly without advice of a gynecologist is not good.

You should get a proper gynecologic examination and ultrasound as well as hormonal test to find out the exact cause of your problem.

Managing after finding out the exact reason will be better. Thyroid profile should also be done to rule out hypothyroidism.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nishad BN
