Is Increased Dosage Of Celexa Advisable For An Elderly Person?

My mother is 93 years old living in a small nursing home. She was diagnosed with pneumonia last weekend, received some potent shot and is on antibotics for a week. She has become more agitated and complained of her eyes bothering her and having headaches. She never had headaches. The nursing home is giving her antidepressants (Celexa) and has been increasing dosage. Was 20mg and increasing to 40mg. Is this an acceptable dosage?
