Hello,

The elevated liver enzymes most probably could be due to infection with some hepatitis virus or from excess alcohol drinking. Sometimes fatty liver also can be responsible due to high cholesterol.

So I suggest you investigate with ultrasonography abdomen, HAV antibody Elisa testing, Hbsag ELISA, HCV antibody Elisa, HEV antibody Elisa, serum cholesterol estimation for primary work up.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
