This is very common with Decadron shot. This is due to irritation of stomach much mucosa caused by increased secretion of hydrochloric acid from stomach. It will stay for few days and will resolve slowly 1. Omeprazole 20 mg once daily per oral empty stomach for 7 days 2. Domperidone 10 mg per oral when you feel nausea 3. Continue other medicines for ear infection as suggested by your doctor 4. Avoid alcohol, smoking, spicy food, and non-steroidal pain killer for few days 5. In future, if you take any shot of Decadron, take it after full meal 6. Do not heavily at a time. Divide your meals into smaller portions and eat them frequently during the day 7. Avoid eating 3 hours before lying down 8. Raise the head of your bed 9.
