Is Food Craving A Sign Of Pregnancy?

I'm just wondering when I could take a pregnancy test and when would it tell me as all the Internet sites say different, I last had my period on the 19th October my cycle last 28 days my period last 4/5 days after my period finished iv had intercourse twice also when do cravings start as I ate pickled onions out of a jar and I don't normally eat them that's very unusual for me thank you

* Yes, capricious appetite can be considered as one of the sign of pregnancy observed in many pregnant women.It is due to increasing levels of pregnancy hormones circulating in blood after conception.
As to when it is exhibited depends on personal tolerance/ sensitivity to the hormones. To few ladies do not have it at all, but few of them can get it as early as 10-15 days after conception.
Such appetite can also be seen in few persons in convalescence from illness/ hormonal imbalance/ gastro intestinal upsets also
* The confirmatory sign of pregnancy is delay in normal/regular menstrual cycle & +ve pregnancy test.
- You can take blood HCG pregnancy test the earliest- around the expected date of your period.
- Home pregnancy test is best done by 8-10 days of delay in menses.
