Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Lesional Epilepsy due to trauma may sometimes persist for long time.
Uncontrolled seizures may be controlled with newer medications.
Many newer drugs like Lacosamide, Levetiracetam, Fycompa, Lamotrigine can be tried.
Precautions for prevention should be followed.
Avoid sleep deprivation, flashing lights, skipping drug dose, alcohol intake.
Reduction and stoppage of drugs can only be tried after complete control for 3 consecutive years.

Regards,
Dr N Kumar
