Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If you've never had hypertension before then perhaps Prednisone raised your blood pressure. Prednisone causes hypertension mostly by increasing sodium retention. If you have a history of an aneurysm or serious heart failure then urgent treatment is required. Otherwise don't worry much about this blood pressure. Just make sure you contact your doctor for further instructions. If, you're going to need Prednisone for long then perhaps you're going to need anti-hypertensive treatment as well.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
