Is Electrical Cardioversion A Safe Process?

Yes. I am scheduled for Shocking The heart back into a Normal rhythm this week and am a little worried about the procedure. I have an irregular heartbeat. I recently had Cat done , no tint needed or no blockage. heart seem normal according to the Surgery but still had irregular heart beat after EKG.

While the procedure may sound scary, in general it is safe and just mildly uncomfortable for a few seconds. You will be with the doctor and you'll be continuously monitored before, during, and after the shock.
