Is Duphaston During Pregnancy Safe?

hi i had my lmp on 9th of september 2012, i had three positive hpts on 16, 17 and 19th of october 2012. spotting with some slight pelvic pressure started on 18th of october which was very little and brownish in start and turned a bit more and reddish on 19th i consulted my doc on phone and she prescribed me duphaston 10 mg without any scan or blood test. spotting or bleeding is stopped but i am worried. when should i go for an internal scan can i think my pregnancy is safe now?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. You were put on duphanston due to a possible threatened abortion and so this drug will help (only to a certain extent) to support pregnancy. We can be more hopeful for pregnancy to be retained, but we cannot depend on it completely.
