Is Deworming Advisable For A Toddler Suffering With Canker Sores On Tongue?

Hi,
My baby (2 years old) has red rashes on the diaper area. His skin is always red and itchy there. It started when 2 weeks after our return to Africa. He's constipated as well. I saw canker sores on his tongue this morning. Do you think that he needs deworming? Please note that my baby is ashmatic and the wet climate here in Africa didn't help him at all. Please advise me what to do.
Medicines he is on: singular (3 months treatment), ventoline and pulmicort ( in nebulizer when necessary). 1 spoon of honey each night.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns.

As per your complain in case of your child has Canker Sores in his mouth then it can be due to Nutritional Deficiency, Oral infections, allergies etc..
While rashes can be due to moisture at the site where diper band is placed as well as can be due to tight inner wears that can cause lack of air..
While constipation can be due to worms in stomach but can be confirmed only after a thorough clinical evaluation by a Paediatrician and getting necessary investigations done..
So I would suggest you to get any treatment done only after an expert advice..
In case if there is any pain in the CANKER sores you can apply numbing gel over them and also feed him with soft bland diet..
You can make him wear loose fitting undergarments and keep the rash area clean and dry..
You can apply antifungal and antibiotic ointment over it as well as Steroid ointment for relief from irritation at the rash site..
