Is Dent In Spine Of A 2 Month Baby A Cause For Concern?

My 2 month graddaughter went in for her 2 month check up and was told that they saw what appeared to be a dent in her spine. They told my daughter to get an ultrasound done but that they have seen this quite often and it probably is nothing. Can you give me anymore information? Thanks
