Hi,

Unfortunately, dementia is a progressive neurological disorder that currently has no cure. Treatment options for dementia are focused on managing symptoms and improving quality of life.

The best course of action for your father's condition will be to continue working closely with his doctors to manage his symptoms and ensure he receives the best possible care. It's important to keep in mind that each individual with dementia experiences the condition differently, and there is no way to predict how it will progress in any given case.

Please feel free to ask your father's doctors any questions you may have about his condition and treatment plan, as they will be best equipped to provide you with personalized information and guidance.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
