Is Delayed Periods After Removal Of Right Fallopian Tube Serious?

I had my right Fallopian tube removed in March 2014 because of fluid in the tube. IVF could not be completed because of fluid and my fertility doctor recommended the surgery. I ve had normal periods since the surgery until this month. I m 14 days late. Should I be concerned or call the doctor?

Hello dear
Understand your concern
If you are sexually active, then pregnancy is most common cause of delayed period.
Fertilization is possible as your left fallopian tube is intact.
You should go for pregnancy test and or blood HCG to confirm the pregnancy.
In absence of pregnancy, other cause of delayed period like hormonal imbalance, ovarian cyst, thyroid dysfunction should be rule out by consulting the gynecologist.
Avoid stress and take healthy diet.
Hope this may help you
