Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
sir this is the first time i'm experiencing this. this morning i had a coloured urine discharge (dark yellow; nearer to red). no pain associated and no burning sensation. the urine intervals are ok too. what can be the probable causes? and is it serious?
2. since there is no pain,no burning sensation, fever, frequent urgeency to pass urine thus one can exclude UTI initially but see an Urologist for examination and investigation [if needed]
3. Till you see your Attending physician; . drink plenty of water/fluids . if despite of taking sufficient water you are still experiencing dark urine, check immediately with an Urologist since it could indicate a serious underlying health issue which could also warrant examination by a Cardiologist [microscopic hematuria] and Hematologist
