Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Is Daily Advil Intake Recommended For Curing Hip Pain?
I have been taking Voltaire 75 mg for about 7wks ( one daily). Today I became nauseated, dizzy and a sweat. I vomited but it was not anything like coffee grounds. I recently had some ringing of the ears. I will no longer take this medication. It it OK to take one Advil daily until I see a orthopedist for hip pain?
You can take Advil daily, after meals, until you consult the orthopedist.
I suggest you also to take paracetamol + codeine tablets, twice daily, if you continue having stomachache and nausea.
Also take Omeprazol once in the morning 30 minutes before breakfast, for stomach protection, because Advil is an anti-inflammatory drug and the same are Voltaren, and increase risk for a bleeding ulcer.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Suela Gjata,
