Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are wondering if constant dizziness a symptom of depression , which is pointing towards injury to nerve endings in the middle ear. There can be many causes for nerve damage like exposure to loud sound, due to certain medicines like anti inflammatory. allergy, asthma and sinusitis. Dizziness can also occur due to stress , anxiety and depression so consult psychiatrist also . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist again for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order blood test , CT scan , MRI or hearing test like audiogram. There are many treatment options doctor can opt like acoustic neural stimulation and anti-anxiety drugs. These symptoms usually accompanied by hearing loss . If there is infection of middle ear or sinusitis then doctor may prescribe antibiotics . For now avoid loud sound , exercise for half an hour daily (light walk) , reduce intake of tea and coffee and try to keep stress level low. Doctor may also refer you to allergy specialist for asthma like problem .

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
