Is Chronic Interstitial Change In Lungs A Serious Disease?

I was diagnosed with chronic interstitial changes in both lings. However no medication was prescribed and the pulmonogist told me to stop my blood pressure medication. Can you tell me how serious this is and should I stop Blood Pressure medication

Hi, i do care for your concern.
You have not mentioned the medication that you are taking.
In most of the cases the ACE inhibitor drug (i.e catopril) cause dry cough due to release of bradykinin (an inflammatory mediator).
this may produce lung pathology.
It is advisable to switch to another group of anti-hypertensive drug, which would help you a lot.
