Hi,

Yes, carbon monoxide may be produced when water is boiled using a gas water heater.

If you are using one, you need to ensure that the bathroom is well ventilated.

Hi, when I go to the bathroom.. My anus tends to produce a lot of yellow-ish mucus type substance and I find that I have dry wipes of blood on the toilet paper or even wet blobs almost everyday. I feel gassy and my stomach rumbles everyday ( This is due to the mucus, unless I get rid of it then I m okay) How can I stop this and what is it that you think I have???? Thank you.

Very concerned about a friend. He had a positive ANA test - 2 positive tests, actually. He has been experiencing headaches , shortness of breath, fatigue , balance issues, motor control issues and tested positive for a high concentration of carbon monoxide in his blood. Initially suspected it could be MS. Doctors are now sending him to see a rheumatiod specialist. Any suggestions on what he should be asking about or requesting testing for?

I have been sick for over 3 years after I moved into a new apartment. I have seen numerous doctors and have had numerous blood tests done. The only test that shows abnormality is a positive ANA 1:1280, which has been consistently at that level. My symptoms are light headache, light dizziness, flu-like symptoms, general feeling off being ill, light nausea, extreme fatigue, depression, inflammation in my hands and face, itchy eyes, frequency in urination, severe cramps in my feet. These symptoms come and go and are I haven't been able to figure out any correlation with food, sleep patterns, stress levels etc....I have been tested for lupus, RA, Epstein Barr, Lyme disease, HIV, heavy metals, bladder cancer, adrenal fatigue, thyroid and just about every test my doctors could think of. - I recently got a room mate and after about a month she started getting head aches. She suspected carbon monoxide poisoning and I had the gas cut off about a week ago.She hasn't gotten headaches since and my symptoms seem to have subsided. Do you know if there is any correlation with an extremely high ANA and carbon monoxide poisoning?
