Is Bump On Head After A Car Accident Serious?

I have a friend who's daughter was in a car accident yesterday and bumped her head. It doesn't appear to be serious but she wants her checked out and can't find a local doctor who takes Medicaid because they say they don't have the equipment. She is not in pain, no headaches and went to school today. She is 15 years old. She doesn't have any other insurance.

HELLO
As per your description of the situation, the trauma doesn't seem to be very serious; but still any head injury should be taken care of. If she had symptoms like loss of consciousness, vomiting or headache following the trauma then a CT scan of the brain should be done immediately and she should be under observation of a neurosurgeon.
Hope this information helps you. Thanks and take care.
