Is Bulky And Anteverted Uterus Suggestive Of Fibroid Concerning?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...hi doctor.my mother's sonological report said that "bulky and anteverted.there is one small slightly hypo and heteroechoic S.O.L is seen in lower part of body anteriory meaasuringabout25.3mmx23.2mm.the S.O.L is has pushed adjoining endometrial echo posteriorly midly=suggestive of fibroied" sir is it dengerous?

1.Its concerning if you have symptoms related to it, and if you are in reproductive age group and want to conceive.
2.If you have no symptoms and finished with your family ( kids). There is nothing much to worry - can monitor and get treated.
3.As your report says anteverted is a variation of how uterus lie in the pelvis with the bladder - nothing to worry.
4.About the fibroid - initially treat with hormonal treatment and if does not work -operative ( depending on the age - hysterectomy is treatment of choice)
5.The fibroid is seen causing mass effect on the endometrium - further growth may cause narrowing, Bulky due to growth in the uterus.
6.See your doctor and get needful treatment. Good luck.
