Is Blood In Urine A Symptom Of An Abdominal Aneurysm?
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... My dad is 80 years old and stubborn. He had blood in his urine about 5 weeks ago. His family practice doctor gave him antibiotics. I believe they were called into his pharmacy without seeing him. The urine test is now clear, but his doctor ordered a CAT Scan and after reviewing the results said he might have an aneurysm from the kidney to the aorta. He wasn t sure and a Radiologist has not read the CAT Scan yet. My dad does not think he can survive surgery. Is blood in the urine a symptom of an abdomincal aneurysm?
* The blood in the urine does not necessarily indicate aneurysm, because of usual cases present with hypertension and associated changes in renal function secondary to its consequences.
* However, if you can provide me scan reports of Ct scan, I can guide you still further precisely.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
