Is Bad Headache With Nausea After A Fall And Hit On Spine Normal?

Hello,

My 5 year old fell and hurt her back a few days ago while playing at the neighbors. She slipped and fell and landed her spine on their stairs. Now she has a really bad headache in the back of her head, accompanied with nausea. I'm not sure that the two are related, but I just wanted to see if she needs to get checked out. Thank you for your time!

Hi.... Many thanks for consulting with HCM. I suggest you take her to emergency room immediately. What you are quoting could be relayed to the spine & head injury. She would require a thorough clinical examination/ blood pressure check & if needed a scan. Hope my answer was helpful for you. Happy to help anytime. Feel free to consult at HCM whenever needed.
I find this answer helpful
