Is An Ovarian Cyst A Symptom Of Cancer?

So I have a tennis ball size cyst on my left ovary with low level echoes and a smaller one they said was normal size. I have pelvic pain and a constant feel of being bloated along with not being able to go #2 first Dr said that could be from the cyst pushing against my intestines. My question is is that possible ? I m going for pelvic floor therapy next week and waiting for scheduled surgery on the ovary. Could this cyst be cancer ?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If all the exams shows that is cyst than you have nothing to worry. Of course you should weight for the biopsy after surgery for better results.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
