Is An Increase In Appetite Normal After Starting Contraceptive Pills?
I have noticed my appetite has increased dramatically since February. Some days aren t as bad as others but I am literally starving about 2 hours after eating and sometimes it s immediately after. Overall I try to eat fairly healthy. I have been put on birth control for a hormonal imbalance. I was wondering if this is something hormonal or if my metabolism is just fast? I m 18 and female by the way.

hi...to some extent you are right that pills increases apetite and ultimately weight gain.
such condition occurs due to hormonal pills ..mostly with progesterone pills..
in some study there is not any correlation found between pills and weight gain..
so much of contradiction there.
