Is A Swollen Pus Filled Sac Around The Nail A Concern?

My finger started to swell up around the nail a bit last night, and has dramatically increased over today. now the tip of the finger feels swollen. I poked it with a needle and initially a yellowish pus came out, but even when the pus came out it didn t deflate. I ve been soaking it in warm water for 30minutes, and the pain is less, but swelling still pretty bad. Do I need to find a doctor immediately (it would mean going to the ER at this time of night), or can I wait til morning?

Hello,

I think you are having Paranychia. You have to take antibiotics, you din't mentioned age. If you are adult take:
1. tab. Pan 40
2. tab. Cipro 500
3. tab. Combiflam
4. tab. Chymurol forte
5. Apply T Bact ointment

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
