Is A Delayed Period With Tender Breasts A Sign Of Pregnancy?
Sexual Health advice: I have been taking the contraceptive pil regularly for the past year. In the latest batch i missed days 5 and 6 then took for 10 days before having sex as thought only needed 7 days to be protected and carried on taking pills as normal to the end. Anyway, im a day late on my period. No symptoms at the moment but i was moody a week or so ago and tender breasts 2 days ago. Am i likely to be pregnant? Im on antidepressants and been stressed recently if thats important? Thanks for listening Ami

Understand your concern
As you had missing the contraception pill for 2 days , its effectiveness will be loss. If you had unprotected sexual intercourse in the fertile period of cycle chance of pregnancy will be high along with missed period and other symptoms of pregnancy like sore breast.
So if period will delay by 8-10 days, you can check pregnancy in the morning with mid stream fresh urine sample.
Other cause of delayed period may be stress and hormonal imbalance if pregnancy report will come negative. Continue your antidepressant according to psychiatric advice.
