Is A Cut Hair Necessary After Recovering From Typhoid Fever?

Hi doctor,
i have a doubt which is killing me every second. please help me. in da month of december i got typhoid fever and got cured in a month. now am perfectly alright &my marriage got settled in april. is it necessary to cut my hair??? my neighbour aunt told to cut... please give me reply........

I heard many misconceptions about typhoid,This funny one is fresh to me!!
You don't need to worry and there is absolutely no need to cut hair. I can't find any logic in that statement.
Typhoid fever may cause hair fall,she might have misinterpreted this fact!!
Typhoid spread by contaminated food and water and poor personal hygiene contribute to the development of typhoid. Hair has no relation with spread or development of typhoid fever.
So it is a big no to hair cut !!
