Is A Bleeding Insect Bite On The Discolored Spot On Arm A Cause For Concern?

I got bitten by a small insect on my arm and removed it immediately. the bite caused bleeding(i am on plafix) and took a while to stop. IF it was a tick, did immediate removal prevent any harm or should I have to worry. The spot where I was bitten was right on a blue spot where i had banged myself so any of the signs of a bite are not visible.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
It is due to inflammation and allergic reaction. It will subside on its own in a month's time. See that the wound will not become infected. Take antiinflammatory analgesics to ease the healing process.
