Is Xarelto Safe To Take For Yeast Infection?

Am on antibiotics following abdominal surgery and developed a yeast infection, which I always do with antibiotics. I m on a new med, Xarelto and am unsure if it s safe to take med for yeast infection that my primary doc had given me if I develop a yeast infection.

I have gone through your query.Xarelto is rivaroxaban which is an anticoagulant given as prophylactic for venous thromboembolism.It is not an antibiotic and doesn't cause yeast infection.Antibiotics cause yeast growth by destroying normal bacterial flora.You can take probiotics to prevent this.You can use clotrimazole cream for local application also for yeast infections.Hope this may help you.
