Is WBC Level Of 14.1 A Cause For Concern?
My daughter is 15 years old. For over a year and half she has complained of constant pain in her belly area. It begins in her center belly and the pain moves around to her sides. She recently had a CT scan with contrast, blood work, and urine culture. The results came back clear except her white blood cell count came back high, 14.1 Do you have any suggestions?

WBC elevation is sign of any I inflammatory process in body but also can be caused by stress or seen in healthy people especially if other findings are fine. she should just repeat test in few days and see dynamic of wbc value.
