Hi, Based on the history you have shared, you need to start Medical therapy first if symptomatic prostatic hyperplasia or urinary obstruction is being experienced. Alpha-blockers or anti-androgen therapy may be helpful if ultrasound shows increased the weight of prostate or increased post-void urine volumes. Urolift can be considered in case if severe obstruction not responding to medical treatment and is minimally invasive. Results are operator dependant so can t be predicted but before TURP it can be an option to bridge towards surgical and medical therapy. Hope I have answered your query.
