Is Tylenol The Right Medicine For Severe Eyeball Pain?

My wife, age 68, has severe pain outside of the eyeball area with very sensitive skin and acute pain....not on the eyeball but in the skull area next to the eye socket. This has steadily gotten worse the past few days. Initially, the sensation was a touchy, sensitive sensation but is very painful now. She has an appointment with a doctor tomorrow morning but has been applying a heated towel on the sensitive area all evening. She took a tylenol this afternoon, but is considering taking a percocet type pain pill to help get her through the night.

Hello,

She has symptoms of migraine pain and she can take Tylenol 4 times a days to minimize the pain or take tab naproxen.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
