Is Trika Effective In The Treatment Of Anxiety?
I feel anxienty now and then. Due to tension i used to take trike 0.25 mg for two to three months and slowly stopped taking it. But once in a while i take this tablet just before bed. But last 20 days i have been taking this tablet just bebore bed .But last two days I am taking two tablets on in the morning and one before bed .I am 46 years old. My name is Anil . My email is YYYY@YYYY . Is ther any side effect taking 0.25 mg trika ?

Trika (alprazolam) is a sleeping pill that might help with anxiety but is not recommended to treat anxiety for long times of period, actually one should not exceed a week with it because it causes dependence (you need it regularly) and tolerance (you will need regular increase of dose to rich the effect you had with smaller dose previously).
On the other hand there are pills that are quite effective to treat anxiety and do not cause dependence or tolerance. These are SSRI like citalopram, sertraline etc. They will take up to 2 weeks to give a good effect. During the first week you may combine the SSRI with Trika but you should not continue it further.
