General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Trapic Mf tablet contains the salts Mefenamic Acid, Tranexamic Acid as active ingredients. It is used in the treatment of heavy menstrual bleeding.
Her heavy bleeding could be a result of hormonal imbalance, as she could be reaching menopause. However, there could be other cause which would have been associated with bleeding, and needs to be evaluated and ruled out.
Since taking this medication has not improved in your mother's condition,
it would be advisable to undergo clinical examination and further investigations to know what could be the cause by consulting Gynecologist.
Accordingly, treatment for it could be instituted.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
