Is Tegrital The Recommended Medication For Chest Pain?

I have a pain induced while playing golf on my rib cage on my right chest. My doctor adviced me enzoflam twice daily for 5days and Tegrital 200 at night for 5 days.Is this the correct line of treatment? Considering Tegrital is priscribed for seziures etc.

SOme of the seizure medication can alter pain sensation.tegretal can be used for this purpose .But there are other common medications like tylenol, brufen etc that can be tried first and then other medications should be added.
