Good evening Doctor, sorry to bother you. Have had spinal fusion in1971, hip replacement in 1990 and # femur in 2013 associated wth osteoporosis. Have significant lumbar pain when standing, walking is limited due to pain. Am wondering if I would be able to use TENS unit on back while I have titanium implants? My email address is YYYY@YYYY . I really appreciate your concern, TEN unit is the electrical device and if it is the some kind of metal is there in the body at the site of pain then TEN need to be avoided or need to be discuss with nuerophysician (if low intensity of electric current could be used ) hope this information helps.
