General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It is advisable to treat susceptible bacterial infections. Sulfatrim is a combination of antibiotics (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) which is commonly prescribed to treat infections caused by susceptible bacteria (such as middle ear, respiratory, and UTI). It is not advisable for chronic fatigue, low energy and pelvic pain associated with Crohn's disease.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
