Is Sertraline The Right Medicine For Depression?

I have had depression for many years. The docs took me off bupropion because I am on sertraline but I am so depressed and have been for some time.i told my docs ,including my psychiatrist nurse practitioner but no help. I heard about trintellix and was wondering if it could work for me.

Trintellix is a newer drug that of course do work for depression. Howe'ver it's not the only drug, sertraline is of the same class and has been found quite effective though it may take some time.

I think you can continue with sertraline as advised by your doctor and wait for the response. It may take sometimes like few weeks but many times quite safe and effective.
