Is Salipax Effective In Treatment Of Depression And Anxiety?

I m 32 years old. currently I start suffering from sadness, depressed, anxiety, anger,fear,obesity from future & sleep disorder. I ve been advised to take salipax 20gm daily. Do you think it s a good option for my cause. How long should I take the medicine? Is 20 gm enough?

It is one of the effective drugs used in the treatment of depression and anxiety with less side effects as compared to older drugs.

The dose of 20 mg daily is adequate to suppress the symptoms.

Usually it is prescribed for 12 weeks. If depressive symptoms are controlled, it should continued for at least an additional 26 weeks to minimize the risk of relapse.
However, the treatment is individualized depending upon the severity of the symptoms, you are advised to consult your treating psychiatrist regarding the possible duration of treatment.
