Is Nortriptyline Along With Mirtazapine Advisable For Anxiety And Panic Attacks?

Taking 45mg Mirtazapine for about 9 years,been diagnosed with GAD and PTSD a few weeks back and have been advised on taking Nortriptyline along with a smaller dose of Mirtazipine...good idea or bad?....Been suffering for over 2 years with dreadful anxiety/panic/shaking episodes...:(

Regarding your medical advice of low dose Nortriptyline and Mirtazapine for panic disorder anxiety GAD and post traumatic stress disorder I am suggesting yes you are in order reason is to prevent drug interactions and to prevent severe side effects

In case of any unusual symptoms please see a psychiatric specialist for further clinical assessment and re-evaluation of your drug prescription
