Hi.

For safety concerns, it is not advisable for females.

Morr F Lotion which contains Minoxidil and Finasteride is commonly used for the treatment of male pattern baldness.

Finasteride is approved by the Food and Drug Administration to reduce the symptoms of enlarged prostate in men. It works by blocking the enzyme that is responsible for the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone, the androgen that causes the prostate to enlarge.

Since it also reduces dihydrotestosterone levels in the scalp, which slows hair loss and even increases hair growth it is also approved to treat male pattern baldness (also called androgenetic alopecia).

Because of the safety concerns the FDA has not approved it for the treatment of hair loss in females.

I would therefore recommend you to use Minoxidil 2% which is the only FDA-approved drug to treat female pattern baldness. It works by prolonging the growth phase of the hair follicles. Along with topical Minoxidil (lotion or drops) I also advise you to take Biotin supplement which supports growth of health hairs.

And every effort should be made to find out any possible cause of hair loss like stress, hormonal imbalance, nutritional deficiencies or thyroid issues which should be treated accordingly.

Hope these answer your query.
