Is Monistat The Right Medicine For Yeast Infection?

I used Monistat 1 (ovule) two nights ago. It was very painful and I am still swollen, red and in discomfort. How do I know if it worked? I am worried that if it didn't work I won't be able to tell, as these symptoms override any that I had from the yeast infection itself.

Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having some super added bacterial infection giving rise pain, swelling and redness.
Over and above anti-fungal medicine you might require one course of antibiotic medicine for 5 days.
Keep local hygiene clean and dry.
Ok and take care.
