Is Minoxidil Good To Use After Hair Transplant?

Hi! I have 2 questions about hair transplant. Is minoxidil good to use after hair transplant (fue)? My doctor says that minoxidil don t have effect on transplanted hair. Is that true? I have got at lot of pimples on my head after fue and i dont think it is ingrown hair. Is scalp acne dangerous for hair?

Minoxidil should be used after hair transplant to prevent further progression of androgenetic alopecia at sites different from transplanted hair.
Your doctor is right, minoxidil is not for transplanted hair but to prevent progressive hair loss at sites different from transplanted hair.
Scalp pimple a few days after FUE transplant is a common occurrence and is due to new hair trying to erupt.
It is ideally treated just by gentle puncturing the pus head and left as it is. The doctor usually does it at his office.
Daily shampooing is a must to drain away any infected dried secretion on scalp.
