Is Metrogyl 200 Mg Advisable For Abdominal Pain And Upset Stomach?

Hello Dr, I m 41 year male 75kg weight 175cm height, Suddenly yesterday evening time having a gastric and feeling heavy on stomach, There after drunk a water which was room temperature. After Feeling better. Had a normal routine dinner. Rice and soup with green vegetable curry. This morning stomach was paining. As usual gone to washroom realised had a too watery dahoria. There after more 2 time have to go to washroom. It s same watery dahoria. Feeling normal. Now I m checking my medicine box I have found the METROGYL 200 should I use this medicine? Doctor please advise me.

most of the times diarrhoea is caused by viruses not by bacteria. as you had only 3times upto now, no need to start antibiotics . just take plenty of fluids including oral rehydration solution. having a yorgut is also benificial due to probiotic effect. if diarrhoea persisting meet your family physician rather than treating your self. then he can decide weather need to start antibiotc or not.
