General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Medroxyprogesterone acetate is best drug used to manage the menstrual disturbances with PCOS and other ovarian disorders. After the consumption of last dose of the same drug, you get a withdrawal bleed around 4-5 days period and later your OBGYN will start combined OC pills to regulate the cycle for a period of 4-6 months depending upon the clinical evaluation and expertise of his or her.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
