My husband is 80 yrs old. He has lost a lot of weight the past two years and stays tired all the time. He has had several tests done and so far hasn t been diagnosed with anything serious. His doctor prescribed Megestrol 40 to give him an appetite and gain weight. Is this medication safe for him?
