Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your baby have symptoms of fever and runny nose which is due to inflammation and blockage of sinuses.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit pediatrician once and go for sinus endoscopy for visualization of sinuses. You should give Acetaminophen for fever at 15-20 mg/kg dose and you should give Maxtra syrup which is antihistaminic for runny nose. Yes you can give Ibugesic as well. Loss of appetite is due to associated viral illness.

Take mucolytic agent or decongestants.

Avoid hot, sharp , spicy food substances and carbonated beverages.

Avoid intake of outside food.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
