OBGYN 's  Response
hi,
Gynera is an oral contraceptive and does not help in inducing an abortion. So, if you think you have conceived, you can go either for a HPT 3-7 days later after the missed period or get an assessment of the serum beta-hCG titres as early as a week before the due date. If positive, and if you do not wish to retain the pregnancy, you can ask for an induced medical abortion by an expert after proper evaluation and a trans-vaginal sonogram. Hope you find this information useful. Wish you good health.
