Is Fluocinonide Effective In The Treatment Of Calluses On The Palms?

I use fluocinonide cream for psoriasis, which comes and goes. I have over the past several months developed a callus on my lower right palm from repetitive use. Can I use my fluocinonide cream on my sore callus to help it heal and go away. I have started wearing a glove to protect the area now.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Flucinonide is not that much effective for callus. You have to apply kertolytic agents like salicylic acid to dissolve callus. Consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
